It’s that time again. I am doing another 21-day meditation challenge with Oprah and Deepak. Feel free to follow along on my journey as I Become What I Believe.
Turn Belief Into Power
1) Take a moment to reflect on the four core beliefs of love, self-worth, feeling secure, and feeling whole. Write down, on a scale of 1 to 10, how strongly you feel supported by these four beliefs, with 1 = not at all and 10 = completely supported.
Feeling Secure (1)
Feeling Whole (5)
2) Take the one belief that is working strongest for you in your life and list the ways you can expand it even further.
I feel like I am very loving to my children and to the family closest to me but one way I want to expand on this is to show more love to other people who are around. I am not in a good place with certain people who I do consider close to me and because of that I withhold love out of fear of being hurt or let down. I want to try to face this fear and really show love to the people I have been keeping at a distance.
3) Now take the belief that is weakest in your life and write down ways you can start to improve your experience in this area.
My biggest insecurity is my relationship with my husband. He’s done some things that have made me question not only my place but myself as a person. With everything that has happened and that I’ve gone through I can’t say that I feel secure at all. I don’t really know a way of improving this situation other than to again, try marriage counseling but I do want to think on this more to see if I’m missing something.
