As one of my monthly goals is to meditate everyday I have signed up for a free meditation challenge with Oprah and Deepak. This 21 day challenge focuses on manifestations of success. Feel free to follow along, try it yourself and/or comment below.
To Succeed Is to Grow and Flourish
Q1) Our inner growth and pursuit of success require feedback from the self. Write down the different ways your body, emotions, and mind give you feedback. Being aware of this feedback is a way of recording your progress.
My body feels more energized and I feel more awake. My emotions are more calm and I feel like I am in better control of them. My mind is more clear and making difficult decisions has been less difficult.
Q2) Take the list of feedback you wrote above and explain what messages your progress is showing you. For example, when your body feels light and energized, it shows that your body is moving closer to its goal of wellbeing.
I think I should assume by how I am feeling above that I am moving closer to my goal, even if I don’t realize it everyday. My mind and body clearly know that we are making progress in the right direction.
Q3) Write down some of the feedback you are noticing from your body, mind, and emotions, and then make a general assessment of how well you are growing and progressing.
On the days I meditate early in the morning I am clearheaded and have a lot of energy to get the day started right away. I actually want to get up and get going. I get things done quickly and efficiently without the help of others. When a difficult situation comes up I am able to keep calm and do a better job of listening and not just defending myself. I’m not sure how my growth itself is going. I think I am doing well. Somewhere along the way I feel like my goal has shifted a little and I am wondering if maybe I have lost sight of it or if it is okay that my goal is changing because maybe I’m finding more out about myself and what I really want to succeed at. I think that I am feeling better and that unto its self is good growth and progress.
