If you’ve been reading me for a while you know I’m headed back to school. Since I haven’t really gone to school in about 5 years I needed some supplies, at least I needed supplies that didn’t have Paw Patrol or Lego character’s on it. Because I’m not in school right now and have not received any information from my professors I winged it on the supplies I needed. I wanted to cover the basics and I got a few extras.
The first thing I needed was a new backpack. I would have used my old one but I don’t know where it went. I decided that I wanted a really nice backpack that I could use for the next 2 years of school and beyond as a day hiking backpack. That is why I choose to get the Fjallraven Kanken Daypack in Ox Red. I love the color and it is comfortable to wear. The best part though is the size. From the outside it looks quite small but you can fit so much on the inside.
The next thing I had to get was a case for my MacBook Air. I got the iBenzer Hard Case Cover in turquoise. I liked this one because it had good reviews on Amazon and it came with the case, a keyboard cover and a screen protector. I also really like the color, which they have a lot to choose from just make sure you are picking the right size.
I don’t want to carry around a ton of binders and notebooks and folders plus my textbooks. That is why I decided to get a 1 inch Five Star Flex NoteBinder. It’s a 5 subject notebook, binder and folder all in one. That means I only need to carry around one thing. I also got 1 pack of college ruled filler paper and 1 pack of loose leaf graph paper. The NoteBinder does come with filler paper but I wanted more since I plan to use this for the next 2 years and I know I will use it. I also wanted to get the graph paper because I am taking a math class and I know I will be graphing. Because I am a little OCD I want the graph paper to make sure I make straight lines.
I also got a pack of Paper Mate mechanical pencils, a pack of Pilot Frixion pens in black, blue and red, 2 packs of Pilot Frixion Highlighters, 1 in fluorescent and 1 in soft fluorescent and really cool pencil case from Ban.do. I got the mechanical pencils because of my math class but I got these ones in particular because they are good quality and because the giant twist up eraser. Mistakes happen and when your eraser has worn down to nothing and you can’t fix the mistake it sucks. I also got the Pilot Frixion pens because they are erasable as well. When I first purchased them I thought they would leave behind a shadow like most erasable pens do but these ones actually didn’t. I tested them on several different papers and all of them came out clean after erasing the ink.
I also picked up some odds and ends, like a mini stapler for that one teacher that will take points off your paper if it isn’t stapled. A dry erase calendar decal for the wall above my desk so Nick and I know my school schedule. A new set of in-ear headphones that are actually nice and not the cheap ones that come with your iPhone and a case to keep my new headphones in so they don’t get tangled and ruin in my backpack.
That’s it for this years school supplies haul. I’m hoping that most of this stuff will last me the full 2 years I have left of school and if not then I suppose it wasn’t ment to be. I hope you all found this interesting and helpful too. I think most places tell you to get more than you need. I’m slowly becoming a minimalist because I can’t stand the clutter anymore so I kept my haul small and brief. Hope you liked it and if you think I forgot anything feel free to leave me a comment down below.
